The Model IGF DedTru Fixture turns your existing surface grinder into an ID grinder. The Model IGF is designed for applications requiring the grinding of the ID of parts where the ID is closely concentric to the OD.
The Model IGF Centerless Grinding Fixture can be installed on most standard surface grinders. It is easy to set-up and can accommodate long or short parts which can be removed at any time during grinding without introducing measurable errors.
The Model IGF provides easy adjustment in the vertical and horizontal directions to accommodate small parts with diameters ranging in size from 1/4" to 5" OD. The IGF is supplied with a standard pressure roll assembly that is adjustable by means of a spring to hold the part firmly against the blade and regulating roll during grinding. The pressure roll is adjustable so the part can feed axially along the regulating roll in either direction up to the location of an end stop. Optional rollers (1-1/4" and 1/2" diameter) and end stop configurations are available to accommodate most applications.
